Our consulting and software company specialises as a SAP® Service Partner in
the value chain within manufacturing and sales for the production and
process industry. Our business activities range from efficient implementation analysis based on own early prototype systems to complete SAP implementations with responsibility over the whole project. We take into account the optimal design of the accounting and the requirements for an operative and strategic enterprise reporting.
In multinational projects we supported companies to increase their competitive advantage by using SAP ERP and to optimize cross company processes in the supply chain. Small and medium-sized businesses often have the same functional requirements and also find in SAP ERP their solution.
The demands regarding rational processes however are in many cases considerably higher. The implementation of a new ERP software is normally connected with a business reengineering. With the substitution of software, it has to be taken into account at the same time the highly optimized functions of the legacy systems, the integration of all requirements resulting from the production and quality control as well as the particularities of hitherto existing material flow concepts.
Big enterprises can in such cases revert to proprietary subsystem software. For small businesses this becomes however a budget question and in the long run a question of interface and maintenance costs.
This is also valid for autonomous production sites of bigger company groups with special requirements, which stem from special production technologies or industrially determined approaches. The functional degree of coverage of the SAP standard lies for most industries, also due to different SAP industry solutions, next to 100 percent.
OSCo is prepared for the additional requirements and can represent all important functions of a MES (Manufacturing Execution System), the production data collection (PDC), the quality management, and of the material flow in a common system landscape, the SAP Enterprise Service-Oriented Architecture (ESOA).
